Located in Ampang, Canaan Home is a retirement and long-term care facility for dependent elderly residents. In July, EFS organized a donation drive to support Canaan Home’s efforts in caring for the elderly. The event was sponsored by YB Tan Kok Wei, Health Lane Pharmacy, Persatuan Kebajikan Masyarakat Ria Selangor dan Kuala Lumpur, and Ravenol Lubricant (M) Sdn Bhd.
Through the donation drive, EFS provided Canaan Home with a much-needed 18kg-capacity washing machine, as well as rice for the elderly’s consumption. Additionally, Canaan Home has experienced a significant 70% reduction in their electricity bill thanks to the solar PV system installed by EFS.
